What are the best things to do in and around Puerto Vallarta?

One of the best things to do here in Puerto Vallarta is go to the beach. Some of my clients like going to the riverside and going bird watching in the estuary in Lo de Marcos (about an hour by car north of Puerto Vallarta).

I went horseback riding in Lo de Marcos for the first time I had ever ridden a horse in my life. I couldn’t move for a week but the experience was totally worth it!  We rode across the river, to the mountains, then we went back from the mountains, down to the beach, and on the beach. It was a beautiful experience. The sightseeing was great. Riding the horse along the river was awesome. One week of not working because my body was sore was totally worth it! 

 

If you are a golfer, one of the best things that Puerto Vallarta offers is golf. We have three Jack Nicklaus golf courses here. There are other golf courses in Puerto Vallarta, which are not Jack Nicklaus golf courses but they are also of very good quality.

The best thing to do in and around Puerto Vallarta is going shopping. Not everybody has to do it but that is something that I love doing in Puerto Vallarta. They have really good stores at the town center. You could also take a walk on the malecon (boardwalk), where you could take pictures. You could also go to bars if that is your thing. The nightlife in Puerto Vallarta is really good.

In general, people go to Puerto Vallarta for the beach. They have great hotels, too. There are cruise lines from everywhere in the world that can take you to Puerto Vallarta. If you are from Puerto Vallarta, there is a place here where you can watch these cruise ships as they are docked. Most of the Pacific cruise lines come here to Puerto Vallarta. 

 

Overall, people prefer to come to Puerto Vallarta because life here is pretty quiet. It is a good place to live.

The best things to do in Puerto Vallarta are definitely water sports. If you just need to relax in the beach, have a couple of cocktails and watch the sun set, that’s also a very nice thing to do in Puerto Vallarta. There’s also whale watching in Puerto Vallarta.

The Yelapa area is also nice for beaches. For our day off on Sunday, my family and I are going out on a sailboat.
