The best surf in the Puerto Vallarta area is located in Sayulita, San Pancho (also known as “San Francisco”), Lo De Marcos and Punta Mita. There are a few International surf competitions and events held each year in Sayulita. The town of Lo De Marcos hosted its first annual Surf and SUP Competition this past weekend. It was called “Boom Beach” and was pretty well attended.
