How's the kayaking, rafting, and canoeing in and around Los Cabos - La Paz, Mexico?

Lots of people have kayaks along the beach in Los Cabos and La Paz. Lots of people do kayak trips here and there are plenty of places to do kayak adventure trips in the ocean. You will see a lot of people here that have that as a business. The ocean is generally flat for kayaking but not during the wintertime, especially here in La Ventana, where it becomes very windy. (La Ventana is where I live and work, about 40 minutes from La Paz and two hours from Los Cabos, along the ocean.) La Ventana is known to be a very windy area so people like doing wind sports here like wind surfing, kite boarding, and foil boarding, which is huge.
In La Ventana and in La Paz, we have catamarans and all different kinds of boats here that you can use, too. It is absolutely possibly to just take your own kayak and launch it in the ocean.
There are no rivers here so there is no rafting but during the summer months people go party rafting, so you might see a bit of that. We also stand up paddle boarding, which is huge here.
