There are a lot of people in Cabo who only want to rent by the week or by the night and that is an option. A two-bedroom furnished apartment in Cabo would be around 20,000 pesos or $1,100 a month on a long term rental. 
 
A one-bedroom apartment in La Paz without an ocean view could cost you around 7,000 pesos, or around...

The price also changes depending on the bells and whistles and how many rooms it has. Apartments in Los Cabos are much more expensive. It is one of the most expensive places to live in Mexico but there is a lot of money out there and the price is not dropping occupancy. During Christmas, hotel occupancy rates in run at about 98%.

I have seen a tremendous demand for accommodations in Los Cabos in the last few years. A couple of years ago, you would never have seen anyone looking for accommodations. Now I see people looking for one, two or three apartments or homes a day, willing to pay $1,000-$3,000 a month, or maybe even more than that.
