Some people who came to Baja California Sur to retire continued working here on different things that caught their interest. They have a house here and they live as if they were young. I have friends here who are over 60 years old (most people here are over 40 years old) and I enjoy hanging out with them like we’re kids in kindergarten when we are on the beach. We enjoy playing with our toys like our fishing rods and kayaks.
Most people here enjoy kayaking and being around nature. They go paddle boarding and they do a lot of other activities. This is how expats and retirees live here. You can retire here but you won’t end up just reading a book. There are lots of things to do. A lot of people come here before they even retire. I have friends who live and work in London and in New York but they come here to enjoy. That is important. Don’t wait until you’re old to enjoy going to different places.
