How much does it cost to get TV in Mexico?

TV in Mexico is quite affordable. You can get cable packages. There are two major companies: TelMex (which is also Telnor, depending on which state you’re in) and Cablemas. Cable can cost anywhere from around $10 a month for really for basic cable and it can go up from there. There’s a lot of complicated digital TV packages that they offer but the most common thing that people do is bundle them together so you get your internet, cable, and phone for one price per...TV in Mexico is quite affordable. The price for TV in Mexico is a lot cheaper than in the US. I didn’t realize this until I came back to the US this summer to visit for about a month and my mom was upgrading her cable service. She was getting the package of the most basic channels and was paying $50 or $60 a month, and after her upgrade, she’s probably paying double that or even quite a bit more. In Mexico, I mean, you won’t be paying more than $30 a month for cable.
You can get US channels like CNN, Fox News and a lot more international channels as well. You’ll see BBC, the news channels in Mexico and Central America, and a lot of the foreign news channel. You can usually get a lot of your favorite shows, and they will still be in English. The older the TV show, the more likely it is to be dubbed in Spanish, but you can still get a lot of English channels.

You can import your TV, which a lot of people do, as there are lots of systems now that allow people to do that. In Canada, you can’t have that system where you have both cable boxes and a dish. But everybody is Mexico does.
