The best things to do in Placencia are fishing, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and my favorite thing to do is just to stay in the beach with a bottle of Caribbean rum and a bottle of coke.About the fishing, well, we have different types of fishing. We have cast line fishing, deep-sea fishing, hand-lining, fly fishing, reef fishing etc. We have all the kinds of fishing people want to do. We have a lion fish tournament here every June. We do all kinds of fishing in Placencia.

We also have subsistence diving, where people go diving for lobsters or conchs.

The coral reef in Placencia is amazing. One of the best things to do in Placencia is snorkeling. I haven’t been snorkeling that much, but when I did, the coral reef was really amazing. The corals are beautiful at the Laughing Bird Caye. There are plenty of other cayes where you can snorkel. The coral reef in Placencia is amazing. One of the best things to do in Placencia is snorkeling. I haven’t been snorkeling that much, but when I did, the coral reef was really amazing. The corals are beautiful at the Laughing Bird Caye. There are plenty of other cayes where you can snorkel. To go to snorkeling, you have to go to the smaller islands near Placencia because the Placencia beachfront does not have any coral. If you go further into the water, you will reach Placencia Caye. Right at the back of that, you might see some marine life. The best thing to do is charter a boat and go to the small cayes nearby. The boat ride would take about 30 to 45 minutes.

On a personal level, with three little kids, I am pretty family-oriented and I have my business. I work day and night. One of my favorite things to do is dining. There is a family coming over tonight to share with us a private cook event for ten people at the beach. The cook will surprise cook for us, most likely it will be fresh fish. That means we’ll have lobster all cooked right on the table on the beach. That’s what we like to do.

We also like to go to resorts and hang out by the pool with friends. We take the kids to a fine resort, have barbeque, and we go out fishing on a Sunday.
So in Placencia my favorites are pretty much lifestyle events. We enjoy life and good dining at a very romantic and nice location.

That is one of my favorite things to.Initially, moving down here, my favorite things to do were to go snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and doing things involving the water because I love the water. As time went on, I found that the people themselves and their stories and their lives were very interesting. They're fascinating and beautiful people, so I got to know more of them. I like to spend time hanging out with them. It's just a very enjoyable way to pass the day and then take that special day to go out on a boat with your friend and spend the day fishing or snorkeling out at one of the islands. I like to kayak. At Chabil Mar we have paddleboards as well, so I go paddleboarding.
