It would be a studio cabin that has a little kitchen, double bed, and a little balcony with full view of the sea. If you want something more sophisticated, you can get a one-bedroom for $1,500 per week with a small pool, and you could be on the beach, too. There is another one that I rent for $1,500 a week where you get two bedrooms, a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.
If you want something really gorgeous and on the beach, I have seen one that is a huge 5-bedroom private house with a nice kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and it’s around $7,000 per week.

You have to consider whether you want to be in the mountains, on the water, further north, etc. The price also differs if you want to rent a home or a condo and how many rooms are in each unit, so you really have to do your homework. My suggestion is that you come down to Placencia, spend a couple of days here, and go out to see the different places and areas. From there, you can decide in which area you want to spend the next couple of months. Depending on your length of stay, there are multiple areas in Placencia that one can choose. It also gives you a feel of the district as well. In our project, we have both homes and condos in our rental pool. We have short term rentals as well as long term rentals. We have a couple of three-bedroom, three-bathroom homes. Depending on the season, the price can range from $2,000 a week all the way to $4,000 a week. We also have one six-bedroom and six-bathroom home. A three bedroom condo would cost about $3,000 a week.
