There is very good bus service in Corozal that could take you wherever you want to go throughout the country of Belize. Taking the bus is the main mode of transportation for the locals and is very reliable. I have taken the bus and I know expats who have taken it as well to take trips down south.

Corozal has what is called “express buses” and there are local buses. The express bus will take you from one town to the next town without stopping on the streets, while the local buses will stop anywhere and anyone on the side road to pick them up.
Taking a bus here in Corozal is very inexpensive. I could take a bus from Corozal Town to Orange Walk, which is the next major town, for only Belize $2 or US $1. A bus ride from Corozal to Belize City, which is 80 miles away, costs about Belize $5 or US $2.50.

Yes, there is good bus service in Corozal. You can catch a bus from Corozal Town to Belize City, Orange Walk, Belmopan, and other places that connects to Corozal. There is also a bus service that you can take all the way to Mexico. You can take buses to Chetumal, Mexico, the Free Zone, etc.
Within Corozal, there are no bus services but you can take a taxi. Corozal is a pretty small town of only about 2 miles so you could almost walk to wherever you...
