If you want an American-style, 2,500 foot home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms located near the bay, it would cost around approximately BZ $1,800 or US $900 a month. The house would be furnished but utilities would depend on where the house is located. Some houses in Corozal use solar panels and some are on the grid. For a house that is rented out at BZ $1,800 a month, it should have grid power but you have to pay for it separately, not included in the rent. My house uses solar power so I could not quote the amount you would pay if your house had grid power.

Some houses for rent here are semi-furnished. They have a dining room table, chairs, and a bed but they might not have TVs and other appliances. If you rent in Corozal Town, you’ll notice that the houses there do not have a lot of land, but the further you get outside of town, the more land there is in general. For example, if you live one mile out of town, there are houses that are on a half or a one acre lot.

As you get out from Corozal, you can get a very small place for $250 a month plus utilities, which is certainly livable.If you're going to get an American-style home that has air conditioning, all the things you're used to, and done nicely inside, the cost is around $750 a month.

We've got one listed right now with three bedrooms and two baths that we'd rent for $750 a month. This house has everything. There are some nice, well done apartments with air conditioning in town that you can rent for $500 a month that have two bedrooms and two baths.
However, there is a bit of a scarcity of rental properties in Corozal at the current time.
