How's the nightlife and entertainment in and around Ambergris Caye?

There is a lot of live music in Ambergris Caye.
There is a lot of nightlife and there are a couple of discotheques, some of which are open until four or five in the morning. There are lots beach bars and lots of happy hours, too. There is even a “Wine Divine Night,” in which a local wine store has a tasting night and they serve platters of cured meats and cheeses.

There is a lot of nightlife and there are a couple of discotheques, some of which are open until four or five in the morning. There are lots beach bars and lots of happy hours, too. There is even a “Wine Divine Night,” in which a local wine store has a tasting night and they serve platters of cured meats and cheeses.
There are different charity events, live music on stage, and karaoke is a big draw here, too. So there are all kinds of reasons to go out and socialize; no shortages at all.

I don’t really drink that much because I don’t like being hung over. However, for other people, there is a huge amount of nightlife in Ambergris Caye. Everyone that I meet who has been to Ambergris Caye says that it is a nice place to go to bar hop and meet new people. I went to a Sunday Funday at Crazy Cannucks, which is a bar across the street from here in San Pedro, the main town of Ambergris Caye. They have live music and a barbecue. Sunday at Crazy Cannucks is really a big barbecue day. A lot of the bars here in Ambergris Caye have a karaoke night. Karaoke is really big on the island. There are also two nightclubs in the heart of San Pedro, which people like going to.
The people who go to Ambergris Caye for some nightlife are a mix of locals and expats, since San Pedro is such a small town.

They have karaoke, trivia night, pub-crawls. They bring in bands or musical groups from outside. They have festivals such as Lobster Fest, the Costa Maya Festival, the Independence Day celebrations. There is always a food festival done once every year here in Ambergris Caye.

There are plenty of activities that you can do here in Ambergris Caye. There is nothing formal about Ambergris Caye so you never have to worry about wearing anything other than shorts, a t-shirt, and a pair of flip flops. There is nothing that requires you to dress beyond that other than some special event that you may be invited to. Ambergris Caye has a laidback attitude where you can go to any of the above-mentioned venues wearing flip-flops, shorts, and a t-shirt.
