Is there diving, Scuba or snorkeling in Belize?

One would have to look for themselves, but our diving is amazing.
We have scuba diving spots like Laughing Bird Caye, the Blue Hole, South Water Caye etc. These places are also perfect for the snorkelers as well, so yeah, we do have snorkeling, diving and scuba in Belize.
We have dive shops that would certify you in BSAC, PADI and NAUI.

One of the best diving spots in Belize, from what I have heard, is the Blue Hole. Out there, you get to dive and see all the caves that have sunk, and the stalagmites and stalactites.
These are cave systems that the ancient Mayans used, but they are not actually Mayan ruins. While you are diving, you will see these intricate and complex cave systems.

Snorkeling, diving, and scuba are all available in Belize. The best snorkeling is around Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye. We have the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve, and the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. These three are excellent area for snorkelers and scuba divers. These are located in the Barrier Reef, which is the second largest Barrier Reef in the world.

A lot of the snorkeling activities can be done in half a day. The scuba could be a whole day. You will see a lot of different types of corals, fishes, marine life like sting rays, sharks, and a lot of different fish. After snorkeling, the tours would usually take you to Shark Ray Alley where there are a lot of sharks, stingrays, and other fish. Guests can actually jump into the water and swim around with them. It is completely safe.
For diving, the most popular site is the Blue Hole, which is a world heritage site, located near Lighthouse Reef. You will go there on a full day tour, which usually leaves the island at 5:30 AM and returns at around 5:30 PM. You will be out at the sea the whole day. You can also do some diving in the Mexico Rocks.

Yes, absolutely there is Scuba and snorkeling in Belize!
Belize is known for offering world-class diving (Jacques Cousteau
named The Blue Hole one of his "Top 10 in the World"), snorkeling, and Scuba.

Did you know the Blue Hole was once a cave formed 153,000 years ago? When ocean levels rose the cave flooded, creating a 410-foot-deep sinkhole.

If you're looking for snorkeling head to Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley for the day. You're sure to spot amazing marine life, including turtles, sharks, and sting rays!
