If you have dual residency one thing you can always know is that you won't have any problem with immigration when going or coming from Belize. That's a big benefit here in Belize for U.S. citizens.

Moving to Belize and / or even becoming a resident of Belize does not affect your US citizenship. You can still vote in US elections and receive your social security payments. You will not lose your US Citizenship unless you request to give it up.
