Typically, the rainy season in Belize starts May 1st and ends November 30th of each year. Because the Maya Mountains in the country are to the south, the lenticular clouds draw more rain to the south so they get about 160 inches of rain to the south of Belize and about 60 inches of rain to the north of Belize.
The rain is much less where we live on the island of Ambergris Caye, which is to the north of the Maya Mountains. The southern part of the country has a more lush and...

There is no specific rainy season and dry season in Belize. However, we have what’s called the high season and the low season. During high season, it’s sunny and during low season, it’s cooler.
Low season is usually around November to April and high season is from May to October. There’s not much of a difference except that during the low season, it’s cooler and it rains a bit more. The weather is pretty much the same for the entire country.
