I have been to the little clinics in Clayton and I find the doctors to be good. But if I have a serious or complex health problem, I prefer going straight to a big hospital. There are no hospitals in Clayton; there are only clinics. If I had something serious, I would go to a hospital such as like Paitilla, or San Fernando or Hospital Nacional. These are the best hospitals. The clinics in Clayton are good with not so serious cases like headaches, and that type of stuff.
The closest hospital to Clayton is Hospital Nacional. Traffic is horrible any time so to get to Hospital Nacional takes about 25 minutes if it’s at night or if it’s a Sunday and the road is not too congested. It takes longer if there is too much traffic in Cinta Costera because there is usually a lot of cars. The second closest hospital to Clayton is Paitilla, which is also around 25 minutes away from Clayton by car.
