At the moment we don’t have any doctors living in Casco Viejo. I was just talking with a group of locals here in Casco about the professions that are here, and we came to the conclusion that we must have every artist in town.
We have doctors of the soul. We have people who do Reiki. (Reiki professionals and Reiki therapists use energy from the hands and they usually treat people with pain like arthritis.) We have doctors of your finances. We have people who will look into your wealth, but we still don’t have a medical doctor. So I guess my next Facebook campaign will be doctors who live in Casco. As the neighborhood grew, we noticed that we didn’t have a dentist living here. We also need a vet.
For these types of services, you would have to go to the city, which is very close. It’s so convenient. Just hop in the car and it is 10 minutes away.
Most doctors in Paitilla Hospital (10 minutes away from Casco Viejo) and Punta Pacifica Hospital (15 minutes away from Casco Viejo) are bi-lingual.
The doctors here attend at different hospitals. They have clinics in different places, so it depends. We have a number of doctors here that attend my family, and I have English-only speaking family members.
There is a list of bilingual doctors at the US embassy’s website.
