Yes, there are a few English-speaking churches in Nicaragua. You only have to make sure you are attending the correct schedule, since the English service may be a special service.

Some of the churches in Managua where they offer an English service are the Catholic Mass at Devine Mercy Church in Villa Fontana, the Covenant Church Inter-Denominational and the International Christian Fellowship.

I know there is one or two in Granada that offer an English Service, but I don't have the names right now. I will be adding them once I find them.

Covenant Church Inter-Denominational

International Christian Fellowship, Nicaragua, logo – Best Places In The World To Retire – International LivingThere are English-speaking churches in Nicaragua, and in fact, my family and I attend one. It’s the International Christian Fellowship, which is also the place of the International Christian Academy, an English-based school that my children attend.

Other than ICF, I know there are three other English-speaking churches in Nicaragua. I am not familiar with the Catholic churches but the embassy website recommends specific English-speaking churches, both Catholic and Christian.

San Marcos in Nicaragua – Best Places In The World To Retire – International LivingIn the churches in Nicaragua, there are sermons that are given in English. There are several English-speaking pastors who live in Nicaragua, as well as several priests. For example, when I used to go to the Ave Maria College in San Marcos (35 minutes away from Managua), our priest, Father Robert, would give mass in English there every Thursday and Sunday.

You will find English-speaking priests in Nicaragua. And in major cities or towns of Nicaragua, they do most likely give sermons in English.

Granada Nicaragua church – Best Places In The World To Retire – International LivingI don’t know about the other cities but I do know that a couple of blocks away from my house in Managua, there is an English-speaking Christian church with an American pastor.

Personally, I go to a Catholic church, which has an English service as well.

I believe there is another church in Managua that is non-denominational, and which also has services in English.
