Panama's weather varies a lot throughout the country, and unlike other countries here are only two seasons: summer / dry season and the rainy season. During summer (between mid-December to mid-April) it is very hot.  During the rest of the year it is considered the rainy season, which is sunny but with sudden rains and also a good amount of heat and humidity. In Panama City the temperature is between 30-37 degrees (86 F - 98 F) during the day, and if you are in the mountains it can go between 17 to 26 degrees (62 F - 79 F).

Farm outside of Coronado in Penenome, Panama – Best Places In The World To Retire – International LivingTemperature in Panama City is 30 to 34 degrees Celsius (86 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit) during the day pretty much steady all year long. The only difference is the rainy season and the dry season.

The rainy season starts in May and runs until November. It rains normally once a day, sometimes more than that.  Normally it rains late afternoon, about 3 PM for an hour or  two, and then stops. That’s it. It’s humid.

The weather in the country of Panama depends where you are.  There are a lot of mountains in Panama.  If you’re in Boquete, you’re up in the mountains, it’s totally a different climate.  If you go, for example, to Penenome, up there, once you get up at higher altitudes, it’s really quite refreshing. It’s not humid. It’s really pleasant.

The temperature here in Panama City is quite nice. It is usually around 25 degrees Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) all year round. It rains from March to December and it is sunny from December to March. The temperature in other areas of the country of Panama may be different depending on where you go.

The lowlands in Panama are hot and humid. Mountainous are are cool and humid. In the mountains of Chiriqui province, where I live, there is no need for either heat or air-conditioning. Temperatures generally range from 65 degrees to 85 degrees year around. It is less humid during the dry season, January through March.

Most of expats in Panamá has been motivated by the weather.  Always warm and nice.  Delicious breeze and beautiful sunshine in the "summer time", meaning the dry season that goes from December to April, and rainy season the rest of the year.  The good thing is that during rainy season the rain is variable, and even on those days when it does rain, you enjoy sunshine because the rain is on and off.  There are many expat "snow birds", especially from Canada, who come just for the cooler months.

If you don´t like warm weather, you always have the option to go to cooler places in the mountains.  But usually, the hot weather is only during the day. At night it is always nice, and almost everyone has air conditioning.

At the same time, this kind of weather  gives you the opportunity of wearing tropical and casual clothes, if you are not in a professional business or in a social event.  Just relax and have peace of mind because you do not have not to worry about the hundreds of layers of winter clothes and snow.  Simply enjoy shorts, walking or bike riding on the causeway by the canal throughout the year.  The perfect weather.

Panama is just 300 miles North of the equator.  That means it's tropical, has high humidity and is often very hot.  Panama has two seasons - summer (from mid December to late April) and rainy (May through early December). Summer daytime temperatures range from 85 to 95 degrees F in Panama City and in the region of the Pacific Coast beaches. Nighttime during the summer season in these same areas can range from 70 to 80 degrees F. During the rainy season, it's cooler but more humid - expect more around 80 to 85 degrees F during the day, and 70 to 75 F at night.

There are some other areas of Panama, which are cooler because of slightly elevations - Boquete and El Valle, for instance.
