About Me
I hope you enjoy my stories and interviews on the site, and my graphics for The Best Places e-books and studies. Currently, I am journaling our trips through Mexico.

I also am starting to design expat t-shirts for Best Places found on my marketplace listing.

As a “Navy Brat,” I did a good amount of traveling as a child. Later, I would travel on my own, usually to the most exotic locations I could find. I’ ve lived in The Philippines, Japan, and various places in the US, including Hawaii (twice). I’ ve traveled to France, the UK, Mexico, several Eastern European countries, Singapore, and Bali. Most recently, I visited Panama. My first Expat Stories here are from that trip.

Professionally, I’m a published writer, but my interests most recently center around graphic design for Best Places.

I love cooking and trying new and interesting recipes, being a hostess, “giving back” where I can, being a dog mommy and loving wife to the man of my dreams

The Divisa to the south of the Panamanian Highway is not a scenic ocean drive, except when you get near the terminus, in the Azuero Peninsula, where there is a ledge only big enough for two lanes, between the mountains and the coast with its tiny little cove... Read More
One can look at a map of Panama and see it as would an early engineer, as an earth moving project. There, where the raised land is as narrow as a sandbar on the globe, and the two giant fraternal land masses balance on either side of the equator, Panama is like the s... Read More
Note: If you would like to watch me read this essay, click on the YouTube below. However, be warned, I am quite amateur; I stammer, I mispronounce words, and apparently, I suffer from chapped lips. But I hope you'll be encouraged to tell your experience and... Read More
