About Me
I grew up in Cincinnati, where I developed a passion for swimming. I earned a full swimming scholarship to Boston University, where I majored in Early Childhood Education. I followed my love of the water to Hawaii where I worked as a teacher and developed my love of surfing.

Returning to Cincinnati, I worked as a teacher and administrator at Cincinnati Country Day School for 7 years. I realized I preferred a beach lifestyle and wanted to include surfing in my daily life, so I relocated with my husband and baby to Nicaragua. We started a small English preschool out of our home and it has grown to a Preschool-5th grade elementary school on an organic farm.. We plan to grow with our eldest students to take them through high school.

I now have three young children, I work as the director of San Juan del Sur Day School where I also teach swimming, yoga and meditation, I teach yoga at a local studio called Zen and I love my life here in Nicaragua. It's always an adventure!
