About Me
Born in Scotland., my youth was spent between Scotland and Mozambique, where I learnt to speak Portuguese at an early age.

I moved to Johannesburg, to study for a business and accounting degree. I moved to London to work as an auditor in the City, an exhilarating experience.

In 1974, I returned to South Africa, working as an auditor in Johannesburg again before setting up my own audit and accounting practice.

The growing international sanctions pressure led to my decision to leave South Africa with my young family and to move to Portugal, where I eventually set up my own accounting and tax firm in Lisbon in 1989. Since then we have moved to the coastal resort town of Cascais, 30 kms outside Lisbon.

I have three children – Kelly – a psychologist, Dean – an architect, Kimberly (at NYU) – a dental surgeon and orthodontist.

We provide the full-range of accounting, payroll and tax services, as well as consulting re: Golden Visa and Non-Habitual Resident regimes.
