About Me
Before I retired 6 years ago, for 20+ years I was president & CEO of a worldwide trade association in the computer field.

I first came to Mexico as a college freshman on a student program with Lewis and Clark College and fell in love with both Mexico and Mexican folk art, which i immediately started collecting.

My wife Dorianne and I open our private home, Casa de los Venados, each day for a tour at 10 am in either English or Spanish of the house and collection of over 3,000 pieces of Mexican folk art which Gloria Guevara, the former Mexican National Secretary of Tourism called "The largest collection of museum quality Mexican folk art in private hands" to raise money for local charities.

Casa de los Venados is not a formal museum nor a business. However, Tripadvisor lists Casa de los Venados as the #1 tourist attraction in Valladolid, as does Lonely Planet and Rough Guide tourist guidebooks.
