About Me
I'm a U.S. National who has residency status in Belize. I started coming to Belize on vacation in 1999, and as the years progressed, began considering it a my retirement destination. My search turned up a somewhat off the beaten path, even for Belize location. Corozal Belize. Near Mexico, and on the water, it seemed to be what we were looking for. In 2005 I purchased a property in an Ex-pat community, and my 5 year plan to build turned into a two year plan, having a home constructed in 2007. By 2009, life circumstances saw me looking at early retirement and moving up my time table for moving to Belize. My wife and I made the move shortly thereafter. We've since gained residency status, and enjoy life here in Corozal with our friends, our Belizean pets, two dogs and two cats. A little over a year ago, I got into the Real Estate business here locally. We are active gardeners, and I'm also Chairman of our community Neighborhood Watch program.
